MRT PIR Monday Lewis 12:30-2:30pm

Our 14-week, research-based class for parents uses the Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) Curriculum, supplemented with discussion and presentations. It is designed to address past parenting behaviors, present family interactions, and assist parents in planning for a healthy family future. This behavior-based approach to parenting encourages parents to recognize the value of taking responsibility for the choices they make and actions they take.

We are a contracted provider with DSHS Children’s Services. Upon completion of this class you will receive a certificate of completion.

Held in person at the Lewis County Courthouse.

Refund Policy

Payment plan available: $25 deposit plus 4 payments of $75.00, paid every two weeks.

Dynamic Dads

This program is a 14-week court approved, evidence-based parenting class for dads uses the award winning “Nurturing Fathers” curriculum, supplemented with discussion and presentations. It is a strength-based parenting group that provides an opportunity for dads to build and strengthen positive parenting attitudes and behaviors, while in the company of other dads on a pathway to becoming “Dynamic Dads.” When fathers are actively involved in their children’s lives, the whole family thrives.

Payment plan available: $25 deposit plus 5 payments of $60.00, paid every two weeks.

Consider the Children On-Demand

The divorce/separation of one’s parents is a major event in the life of a child. Consider the Children is a 4-hour parenting video focused on strategies to support children who live separately from one or both parents.

Topics include:

  • Grief and loss
  • Stress indicators in children
  • The long-term impact of parental conflict on children
  • Communication skills for parents who live separately
  • Strategies to help children in transition through visits  

Upon completion of this video you will be given a Certificate of Attendance to give to your attorney, or file with the court clerk. This VIRTUAL 4-hour video is focused on strategies to support children who live separately from one or both parents.

If you do not have access to a computer, you will also be able to access the video via tablet, or other smart device!

If using a mobile device to access the Consider the Children video, you must access from the mobile browser, not on the Vimeo app.

Register and submit payment by filling out the online form.

A fee of $50 will be charged to participants. Discounts are provided to those individuals who indicate they are low-income and unable to afford the full fee. To receive the reduction in fee, attendees are asked to call our office at (360) 754-7629 and provide proof of low-income status.
